My mentor was patient and skilled in teaching me the craftsmanship involved in completing woodworking projects from start to finish. It was inspiring to create something tangible from basic materials and be part of a larger group observing that same feat together.
However, what touched me most about being part of the Men’s Shed was seeing how fulfilling it was for its members.
